A long way from home.
We started in a garage in 1969. Ronald “Ron” Ebel and Bob Sutton had worked side by side as installers at a glass company. Ron was from North Dakota, and Bob had come west from Kentucky. They were young and ready to risk it all to build something of their own.
The two friends got their start going door to door, repairing broken shower doors. One job at a time, they built a family business that’s still helping Bay Area neighbors today.
Both original founders have since passed away. Today, Bob’s sons Rick and Mike Sutton are co-owners, and the family remains at the heart of the company. The work continues from our Santa Clara showroom, helping our neighbors bring their designs to life.
